Wireless charging technology for underwater equipment is regarded as "the last piece of the puzzle for Marine intelligent equipment", and its research and development involve the intersection of multiple disciplines such as electromagnetism, materials science, and fluid mechanics, with extremely high technical barriers. Underwater wireless charging technology, after nearly a decade of development, mainly faces three major challenges:

Energy transmission efficiency: The absorption and scattering of electromagnetic waves by seawater cause the efficiency of traditional air-medium wireless charging to drop by more than 50%.

Dynamic environmental adaptability: Unstable coil coupling caused by water flow disturbances and changes in equipment posture;

WIRELESSPT has achieved a breakthrough through the "three generations" technological layout:

1. First Generation (2019-2021) : Breaking through fundamental theories, proposed the "Modeling of Magnetic coupling Channels in Seawater Medium" method, published 12 core papers, and applied for 8 patents;

2. Second generation (2022-2023) : Engineering verification, completion of IP68-level prototype development, and realization of 300W power transmission over a 10-meter distance at a freshwater lake test field;

3. Third generation (2024 to present) : Industrialization has been achieved, and deep-sea grade products have been launched, supporting stable charging at a depth of 6,000 meters, with a power of 5kW and an efficiency of 90%.

 

Core Technology Analysis: Four Major innovation Points Build a Solid technological moat

1. High-efficiency coupling mechanism design: By adopting a "magnetic focusing + impedance gradient" coil topology and combining it with a nanocrystalline alloy magnetic core, the energy transmission efficiency in seawater environments has been increased from 65% to 88%.

2. Adaptive energy management system: Based on the Model Predictive Control (MPC) algorithm, it can adjust the working frequency (85khz - 200khz) and excitation current in real time, with a response time of less than 10ms and an anti-water flow interference capability of 0.8m/s.

3. Bionic anti-biofilm adhesion coating: Drawing on the microstructure of shark skin surface, a polytetrafluoroethylene composite coating was developed, reducing the biofilm adhesion rate by 70% and extending the maintenance cycle to 12 months.

4. Multi-physics collaborative simulation platform: Independently developed multi-physics coupling simulation software covering electromagnetism, heat, fluid, and structure, shortening the new product development cycle by 40%.

As a member unit of the China Ocean Engineering Society, WIRELESSPT participated in the formulation of the "General Technical Requirements for Underwater Wireless Charging Systems" group standard, which clearly defined key indicators such as equipment classification, safety protection, and performance testing. With the advancement of the national strategies of "Transparent Ocean" and "Smart Ocean", underwater wireless charging technology will play a key role in areas such as seabed observation networks, deep-sea space stations, and underwater robot clusters.
